Hier vindt een vergissing plaats.
De "Irgun Olei Holland" heeft niks te maken met de terroristische organisatie Irgun Tsva'i Le'umi. Het modern Hebreeuwse woord irgun betekent slechts "organisatie".
Eerstgenoemde org. betekent iets als "Organisatie van Israël-immigranten uit Nederland" of "Nederlandse Israëlgangers Organisatie". De terreurgroep betekent ongeveer "Nationale Militaire Organisatie."

Ik had deze reactie verwacht, sterker nog, ik heb haar uitgelokt om de bewering aan de kaak te stellen:

Dit is een verkeerde veronderstelling en die wordt bewust in stand gehouden, de bewering dat er fatsoenlijke en onfatsoenlijke zionisten zouden zijn. Laten we beginnen met de onfatsoenlijke, de Joodse kolonisten die weigeren het internationaal recht te respecteren en die net als de terroristische Joodse organisatie de Irgun Tsva'i Leu'mi met geweld land van de Palestijnen stelen. Many different groups have endorsed or encouraged a boycott or divestment campaign against Israel at this point. This list is not comprehensive as Gush Shalom apparently does not consider Gilo, Pisgat Ze'ev and French Hill (amongst others) settlements despite being on the Palestinian side of the Green Line. It is however, a starting point for the more limited of the divestment/boycott campaigns. Met andere woorden: niet-Joden mogen er niet wonen, een discriminatie die in een democratische rechtstaat onmogelijk zou zijn.

Het klopt dat de twee organisaties niet direct met elkaar verweven zijn, maar dat hoeft ook niet, ze putten uit dezelfde bron, geestelijk zijn ze hetzelfde. De Irgun Olei Holland gaat akkoord met het gewelddadig stelen van Palestijns land, net als de teroristen van Irgun Tsva'i Le'umi.

Daar komt nog iets bij. Volgens eigen zeggen staat

Welke taal is dat? Niet alleen het Nederlands, maar dus ook de taal van het zionisme en het zionistisch regime dat Palestijns land blijft stelen, in strijd met het internationaal recht en de wil van de wereldgemeenschap. De taal van de terreur dus. Het is tevens de taal van

Het is in deze samenleving die Joodse terreur eert dat de Irgun Olei Holland opereert en de onderdrukking van en terreur tegen de Palestijnse bevolking met woord en daad steunt. En hoewel de Irgun als terreurorganisatie niet meer bestaat, is de geest van Irgun nog dagelijks merkbaar in het beloofde land en de bezette gebieden die Irgun Olei Holland kennelijk als Joods eigendom zien. Kortom de stelling van Herman dat

gaat niet op. Beide hebben wel degelijk nauwe ideologische banden. Dat is wat ik duidelijk wilde maken. Het is net als dat eeuwige argument dat linkse en rechtse zionisten fundamenteel van elkaar zouden verschillen, terwijl zowel links als rechts in Israel heeft gemoord en etnisch gezuiverd. De Leidse Universiteit zou zich daar rekenschap van moeten geven en Cleveringa niet moeten gebruiken om een staat die zich steeds meer tot een schurkenstaat ontwikkelt een schijn van legitimiteit te geven. Ik heb even hard moeten lachen, als het niet zo treurig was geweest. Het is ongeveer hetzelfde als ik Stan van Houcke vergelijk met Stan Huygens omdat ze beiden Stan zijn. Het belooft in elk geval niet veel goeds voor de uitleg in de komende dagen...
