Hamas accused Israel of expanding its "brutal war of extermination" from the Gaza Strip to cover the cities, towns and camps of the occupied West Bank with the latest major assault.
The Palestinian movement said the escalation was the "result of the suspicious international silence" in the face of the "flagrant violations of all international laws and its deliberate targeting of defenceless civilians with the intent of extermination and displacement" by Israel.
It said the attack on the West Bank was an attempt to implement the extremist plans of the Israeli government, expressed by its fascist ministers, against Palestinians in the occupied territory.
"The criminal enemy, through its successive fascist governments, has tried for decades to suppress the resistance of our people in the West Bank by all means, without succeeding," Hamas said in a statement.
"Its current criminal military campaign will inevitably be broken by the steadfastness and determination of our people and the determination of our brave youth and resistance fighters."

I struggle to see where we as the US go after this. We have bent over backwards to aid Israel in their attempt to eliminate a people. We have done this by allowing Israel to violate international law as well as breaking our own laws. The Leahy Laws, “prohibit the U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense from providing military assistance to foreign security force units that violate human rights with impunity.” When did we as a country decide that Palestinian lives don’t matter?

It is such a dystopian reality for all of us - the reality of the “democratic society” that we depend upon. The silence, the silenced, the propaganda, the gaslighting, the atrocities- the war on children. I feel like im loosing my mind, my hope and my heart!

Israel moving out of Gaza and its war on Hammas to head into the West Bank to expand its illegal settlements and claim Palestinian oil looks suspiciously similar to the US moving out of their war on terror in Afghanistan and into Iraq to behead Saddam and steal their oil. I guess Oct 7th is Israel’s 9/11 down to the point that they were each aware of the pending attacks and may have actually facilitated the loss of their own citizens lives in order to justify the overkill that ensued. 🙄

Hamas is right ... I am fed up with the @ukgovofficial for it's deafening silence & constant appeasement of the far right faction that has control of Israel atm ... it is time to say NO ... in fact the time to say NO was back in October ... it is not possible to trust or respect the UK government
