It’s not just Del Bigtree and Vernon Coleman, I’m sorry to report. I was onto them, and others, some time ago. I’m sure that no one wanted to hear from me. (I still use info from them, but only once I’m sure that the ratio of propaganda to useful info is weighted so that the propaganda is quite background or not visible at all.) I was a fan of The Highwire, even when critical. But it’s gotten very hard to be a fan of an organization that, increasingly, aids and abets the enemy (which you do when you accept and repeat the predator/parasite class’s foundational lies about Sars CoV 2 etc). I would put Robert Kennedy Jr’s organization in that category as well.
How to explain it? There’s probably a variety of explanations (such as a lack of caution that causes you to slip so that you end up sliding all the way down) and one can’t rule out straight up betrayal. It happens and has happened a LOT in recent years and not just with this criminal covid hoax. You saw it with the trumped up charges against Donald Trump (the phone call to Zelensky thing) that revealed that a lot of self-idenfitied progressives were no such thing and with the White Helmets propaganda that formerly staunch progressives like Amy Goodman and Sibel Edmonds revealed themselves to be utterly fake. The attack on Syria shook out a lot of fake anti-imperialists, like Noam Chomsky. Organizations like Consortium News and individuals like Jonathan Cook (on CN), pushing the Green New Deal and the idea that Greta Thunberg was not a pr firm-constructed protest were part of the great falling away.
Sadly, You’ll find a lot of self-identified progressives who have gone along with this hoax, attacking other self-identified progressives for being fakers (but in regard to other issues). For example, pro covid 1984 ‘progressive’ Stephen Gowans calls out Noam Chomsky for being a fake anti-imperialist. It’s like an apostle of Jesus Christ said, things are intensely hot and earth and the works in it are being revealed. The ‘earth’ here is this cruel, perverted planet of the rabid apes (the title of a recent blog post I did) that we are all stuck on – for now.
