RUSSIAN ARMY SEIZED LOADS OF WESTERN-MADE WEAPONS FROM KIEV FORCES IN DONBASS (PHOTOS)

On April 30, the Russian military seized loads of weapons from Kiev forces on one of the frontlines near Lyman town in the Donbass region.
Most of the captured weapons were supplied by Kiev’s Western allies after the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.
The weapons included US-made FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank guided missiles along with a CLU [Command Launch Unit], British-made NLAW anti-tank missiles, Swedish-made AT4 recoilless anti-tank weapons, Spanish-made C90-CR anti-tank weapons, German-made MATADOR anti-tank weapons, M72 LAW anti-tank weapons and at least one FIM-92 Stinger MANPADs [man-portable air-defense system].

Russian troops also seized a terminal for the US Starlink satellite-based internet service and other communication equipment.

In the last few days, Russian troops seized loads of Western-made weapons on several frontlines in Donbass. These weapons will likely be supplied to the armed forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).
Western states are currently working to supply Kiev forces with heavier weapons including howitzers, battle tanks, multiple rocket launchers, infantry fighting vehicles, armored vehicles and air-defense systems. The Russian military and the armed forces of the DPR and LPR are yet to capture Western-supplied heavy weapons.
The West’s massive military support to Kiev is meant to prolong the war in Ukraine on the hopes of weakening Russia on the long term.
