Palestinian artist paints ‘hope’ amid Israel genocide
Palestinian artist Bashar Alhroub says his latest work aims to reflect the reality, but also the enduring “hope” in Gaza and Palestine, amid Israel’s genocidal campaign.
The Ramallah-based painter said he chose vivid colours, and refused to use grey, to symbolise his stance against those who claim there can be “grey areas” in regards to Israel’s conduct.
Titled “Resurrection”, the exhibition is currently on show through August at London’s P21 Gallery.
