Dear Stan,

We are seeing an unprecedented moment of resistance across Palestine. Currently intensified in the West Bank, Palestinians are returning to a state of refusal of the settler-colonial reality some would have them ignore.

The Israeli army has launched a massive military campaign across the West Bank to stamp out the resistance, dubbed "Operation Break the Wave," killing over 160 Palestinians since the start of the year. Yet the Palestinian people's determination in facing the colonial onslaught has been unwavering, as more and more groups pop up across the West Bank.

As these historic events unfold Mondoweiss is there to cover them. Our team on the ground in Palestine has been at the front lines reporting on this moment of collective upheaval, bringing you the unadulterated news with Palestinian voices and perspectives that the mainstream media won't show you.

We need you to reach our $50,000 goal by Sunday 16th. Will you support our work today? All contributions will be matched!

We have reported from the heart of the Old City of Nablus, brought you the voices and struggles of the people of Shu'fat refugee camp, as the Israeli siege on the camp enters its fifth day, and taken you inside the Jenin resistance.

Reporting from Palestine takes our entire Palestine team working long hours to produce them in a timely manner as news unfold. Our reporters travel throughout the West Bank and Gaza to cover fast-moving stories. In addition, there are several other costs associated with our work - equipment, translations, editing, and more.

It’s too early to tell what moment we’re in. What’s certain is our commitment to helping you understand this historic moment in Palestine by providing you with sensible, nuanced interpretations of the news we are covering. We need your support.
