Powerfull Iranian Attack on Israel

 ·

So now it begins, the phase of the conflict that many feared but few expected to unfold this quickly. Iran appears to be escalating its response, launching what it describes as the 54th wave of retaliatory strikes against Israel, signaling that the confrontation is entering a far more intense and dangerous stage.
According to statements from Tehran, the latest barrage is being described as the most powerful and coordinated attack since the conflict erupted on February 28. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims the operation involved a large combination of missiles, drones, and cluster warhead projectiles, marking a dramatic escalation in both scale and technology.
In what Iranian officials called a historic step, the IRGC also announced the first operational deployment of the Sejjil strategic solid fuel missile, a long range system designed for rapid launch and difficult interception. The use of such weapons suggests that despite weeks of heavy bombardment, Iran still retains the ability to conduct complex, long range strike operations.
Tehran says the latest strikes were aimed at key Israeli security and military infrastructure, including air operations centers, the Lahav 433 national police intelligence headquarters, and the Gilat satellite communications facility used for defense coordination.
The escalation follows a dramatic development earlier the same day, when two senior Iranian intelligence officials, Abdollah Jalali Nasab and Amir Shariat, were reportedly killed in a targeted Israeli strike in Tehran. Iranian officials have framed the latest barrage as a direct retaliation for that attack.
Across Israel, air raid sirens have been sounding continuously, sending millions of residents into shelters in major cities and surrounding regions. Emergency services have reported several injuries caused by falling missile fragments and cluster munitions in areas including Tel Aviv, Holon, and Bnei Brak.
Israel has responded with a large scale counteroffensive, with the Israeli Air Force reportedly carrying out hundreds of strikes on military and infrastructure targets in western Iran in an effort to disrupt Iran’s launch capabilities and reduce the threat of further attacks.
What began as a regional confrontation has now grown into one of the most intense Middle Eastern conflicts in decades, with both sides escalating their military capabilities. The use of advanced missile systems and coordinated drone attacks indicates that the conflict is entering a new and highly volatile phase.
As the war moves into its sixteenth day, the situation remains extremely uncertain. Tehran continues to issue harsh warnings toward Israeli leadership, while Israel and its allies say operations will continue until they believe the threat has been neutralized.
Meanwhile, the broader global impact is already being felt. Energy markets are reacting sharply, shipping routes remain disrupted, and the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz is adding further pressure to an already tense international environment.
With both sides showing no sign of backing down, many analysts now warn that the conflict could expand beyond the immediate region, potentially drawing in more actors and reshaping the geopolitical landscape in ways the world has not seen for decades.
