Isfahan is considered one of Iran’s most strategically important cities due to its concentration of industrial facilities and the presence of key nuclear sites. The region has reportedly faced repeated bombardment since the beginning of the war. Other cities across Iran were also targeted, including Bandar Abbas, Tabriz, and Sirjan in Kerman province. Tehran itself continues to experience heavy military activity, with Iranian officials claiming that air defenses have shot down several drones in the capital’s skies.
