The day of the occupation of Palestine and the establishment of the Zionist state is celebrated as a day of mourning by Jews in Palestine. Jews commemorate the founding of the Zionist state as a dark day for the Holy Land and for Jews. Israel is not the state of the Jews. Zionism is not Judaism.
