45,317 dead in Gaza, including 14,500 children. 58 in 24 hours

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reported that some 14,500 Palestinian children have lost their lives since the Israeli regime launched its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian women have also been deeply affected, along with children, bearing the brunt of the ongoing atrocities, the UN agency said, according to the Lebanese daily Al-Manar.

UNICEF highlighted that in just one month, 160 Palestinian children were killed in Gaza. Gaza war genocide In addition, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported that women in Gaza are suffering extremely difficult conditions due to the lack of basic necessities. The report states that Israel’s policy of forced evacuation has led to the displacement of two million Palestinians in Gaza, most of whom are women and children.

The death toll of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since the war began on October 7, 2023 has risen to at least 45,317 dead and 107,713 injured. This was reported by the Gaza Health Ministry, specifying that the toll of the last 24 hours, on the eve of Christmas, is 58 dead and 86 injured.

According to the ministry, many victims are still under the rubble and on the roads and ambulances and Civil Defense crews are unable to reach them.

Israel attacks refugee camps in the West Bank, raids and ground clashes

Israeli forces have raided occupied camps in the West Bank. Al Jazeera reports that Netanyahu’s army has deployed snipers in the Tulkarem refugee camp and is clashing with Palestinian fighters in the al-Ein refugee camp. Israeli raids are reported in other parts of the occupied territory, including the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, and the town of Hizma, north of occupied East Jerusalem.

Israeli forces continue their pounding attacks on the barely functioning Kamal Adwan hospital in northern Gaza, blowing up remote-controlled vehicles and wounding at least 20 patients and medical staff, Al Jazeera reports.

At least eight Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli overnight raid on a former school serving as a shelter for displaced people in the Daraj neighborhood of northern Gaza City, Qatari broadcaster Al Jazeera reports, citing its own sources on the ground.

Israel’s unicameral parliament (Knesset) has approved the extension of the country’s state of emergency until December 16, 2025, in accordance with the recommendations of the security cabinet. Local media reported.

The Pope’s denunciation: “Cruelty in Gaza”. UN “It’s genocide”

“With pain I think of Gaza, of so much cruelty, of children machine-gunned, of the bombings of schools and hospitals. How much cruelty” the Pope then reiterated, returning to the words spoken yesterday in his greeting to the Roman Curia.

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, entered Gaza and “presided over the Holy Mass at the Church of the Holy Family as part of his solidarity visit in view of the joyful Christmas celebrations”. The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem wrote this in X.

“We will never abandon you”: this is how the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, addresses the faithful of Gaza in the Church of the Holy Family. The voice of the cardinal, in the homily of the mass, is constantly drowned out by the background noise of drones. “Do not be afraid”, Pizzaballa repeats several times, and “preserve your heart”, “together we remember that Jesus is here with you”.

The Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, confirmed yesterday, Sunday, that all the rules of war are being violated in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to an Israeli genocide that has been ongoing for more than 14 months.

In a post on the “X” platform, Lazzarini said: “All wars have rules, but all these rules have been broken in Gaza. Attacks on schools and hospitals have become common, and the world should not get used to this”.

“These are not numbers. These are lives cut short. Killing children cannot be justified,” he added. The UNRWA head emphasized that the survived children are “scarred physically and emotionally.”

Genocide Worse than Auschwitz because it is legitimized by Western Democracies

Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, in Tel Aviv for an official visit, met with his Israeli counterpart Israel Katz. An important meeting during which Italy’s commitment to promoting stability in the Middle East was reaffirmed, underlining the importance of respecting the ceasefire in Lebanon.

“Unifil plays a fundamental role for peace but must be put in a position to operate effectively,” Crosetto said, adding that “the importance of the peace process in the Gaza Strip was reaffirmed and concern for the situation in Syria, which could destabilize the entire region, was shared. Renewed closeness to the families and hostages, whose rapid release we hope for”.

For about a year, Italian politicians and government officials, from the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, have been spewing hypocrisy by condemning the massacres of civilians committed by the Zionist regime of Benjamin Netanyahu but continuing to support every right of Israel to defend itself, even with the supply of Italian weapons, in fact legitimizing a genocide.

This has happened in perfect harmony with the USA, which has continued to supply missiles to Israel intended to hit refugee camps, hospitals and schools, as denounced several times by the Palestinian National Authority and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), whose expulsion Israel has requested before bombing its headquarters in Gaza.

This is why what is happening in Gaza is worse than what happened in the Auschwitz concentration camp because the Nazi Adolf Hitler, also an idol of Netanyahu, never tried to justify or hide the ethnic cleansing as his Nazi-Zionist heir is trying to do in the Holy Land (not only in Palestine but also in Lebanon and Syria).

The Israeli Army, in fact, forces Palestinians to take refuge in refugee camps and then bombs these precarious structures comparable to concentration camps with the usual mantra that it must hunt down terrorists.

Norway asks FIFA to investigate Israel’s violations

Norway has joined other European countries that have condemned the genocide (including Spain and Northern Ireland) leading to the arrest warrant against Netanyahu issued by the International Criminal Court.

The Palestinian Football Association (PFA) welcomed on Tuesday the statement by Lise Klaveness, President of the Norwegian Football Federation, who called on FIFA to investigate violations by “Israel” ahead of the World Cup qualifying match between Norway and “Israel”.

Klaveness stressed that Norway’s participation in matches against “Israel” transcends the sporting realm, expressing deep concern over the ongoing attacks on innocent civilians in Gaza.

In response, the PFA praised Norway’s principled stance, saying it reflects a broader global sentiment calling for justice and accountability for the actions of “Israel”. The association stressed that FIFA and the international football community cannot remain silent while serious human rights violations persist.

The PFA has highlighted the systematic targeting of Palestinian sports by Israeli forces, highlighting attacks on athletes and the destruction of vital sports infrastructure.

The Norwegian Football Association has taken a strong stance by refusing to play Israel in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Citing the ongoing war in Gaza and what it calls “Israeli genocide” from October 7, 2023, the federation condemned Israel’s actions against Palestinian civilians.

Hamas complicit with Israel to destroy Palestine

Reuters reported on Monday that the gap between “Israel” and Hamas over a potential ceasefire in Gaza has narrowed, although significant issues remain unresolved. Efforts by mediators from Egypt, Qatar and the United States to broker a truce have gained traction in recent weeks, but no major developments have been announced.

A Palestinian official involved in the discussions revealed that while some contentious points were addressed, disagreements persist over the list of Palestinian prisoners to be released by “Israel” and the future positioning of Israeli troops inside Gaza.

Israeli Diaspora Minister Amichai Chikli echoed these concerns, saying that the two sides are closer to an agreement than they have been in recent months, but mentioned that unresolved issues could determine the success or longevity of any truce. The rationale is simple and we have explained it many times.

The terrorist organization Hamas, funded by the US and led by the Israeli MOSSAD, is the motive that is allowing Israel to carry out the depopulation of the Gaza Strip planned many months before the attacks of October 7, 2023.

Among the Zionist objectives is also the complete control of the Marine Gaza offshore gas fields, in which Italy was also involved.

This is why for 14 months now the two sides have continued to fail to reach a truce (which has only lasted two weeks). Netanyahu’s interests in terms of geopolitics, military and economics are much more important than the lives of the hostages.
