More than 70,000 Palestinians have been killed since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, as Israeli occupation forces continue attacks despite the declared ceasefire.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday that the death toll has now exceeded 70,000 Palestinians since the start of Israel’s war of extermination, as Israeli forces continued bombing areas in Rafah and Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip despite the declared ceasefire.

According to the ministry’s report, 70,100 Palestinians have been killed and 170,983 wounded since October 7, 2023.

The statement noted that 299 additional names—whose identities were recently confirmed by the official committee tasked with verifying casualties—were added to the cumulative record covering the period from November 21 to November 28, 2025.

Since the ceasefire announced on October 10, 354 Palestinians have been killed, 906 injured, and the bodies of 606 victims have been recovered, according to updated figures.

Israeli Forces Kill Two Children

Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported renewed bombing inside the area known as the “Yellow Line,” while Israeli forces continued demolishing residential homes east of Gaza City.

Medical sources at Nasser Hospital confirmed that two children were killed on Saturday in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Yunis.

Witnesses added that Israeli helicopters opened heavy fire over the area before shelling it with artillery.

For its part, the Israeli army claimed it had killed three armed Palestinians who allegedly crossed the Yellow Line, asserting they posed an “imminent threat” to its forces.

Commenting on the attacks, the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas said Israeli strikes by land, sea, and air continued throughout the night, alongside widespread demolitions of civilian infrastructure—evidence, the group said, that the assault on the Gaza Strip has not ceased but merely shifted in pace and form.

Hamas urged mediators, guarantor states, and the parties who convened in Sharm el-Sheikh last October to take immediate action to halt Israel’s violations of the ceasefire agreement and compel it to meet its obligations under international guarantees.
