The moment that sealed America's fate
How the 2024 election were probably fake, and why Netanyahu and his billionaire class were so invested in a Trump win
| |||||||||||||||
We are witnessing the beginning of Trump’s (and America’s) latest (and maybe last) round of crazy, with Trump threatening a series of countries even before taking office.
I never shared in one dedicated piece of content my theory of what happened in 2024 in American politics, and how I saw events, through my veteran Israeli eyes, as a culmination of Netanyahu’s (and Israel’s, and Jewish lobby groups’) influence in shaping US policy and direction.
As I explain in the video, I believe a deal was made between Netanyahu, the billionaire class, and the American far-right and alt-right to ensure Trump’s victory in a very crucial moment for all three parties to this pact: Netanyahu was risking seeing his dream of regime change in Teheran collapsing, the billionaire class was risking (relative) peace and normalcy, and the right-wing was risking being run over by gay people, women and people of color with a very different idea of where the US needs to go.
I explain all of it in the video.

I wanted Trump to get elected for the same reason I wanted Netanyahu to get elected in Israel: his personality, style and close circle expose America's barbarism, disconnectedness, and disrespect for the whole world in full. No disguises, no fake niceness, and no fake values: just the plain, naked truth.
Trump is America and America is Trump, just as Israel is Netanyahu and Netanyahu is Israel.
The age of false hopes and illusions is over. Now that everything is in the open, we will start to see some real change. As they're pushed against the wall, people will be forced to speak up and defend themselves. When they do, we will suddenly realize that both Israel's and America's power stems to a large degree from the fear their victims feel and the scenarios they make up in their own minds. As the fear dissipates, so will that power.
We’re likely to discover as part of this process (and may be part of the great unmasking that began on October 7) that both countries are much more fragile and less powerful than they and the rest of the world imagine.
I believe this understanding—the limits of American power—will define much of Trump's second term. Similarly, for the remainder of Israel's days, it will be faced with the realization that it has reached the absolute limits of its power, influence, and ambition.
There is no 'after Trump' for the American empire, and there is no 'after Netanyahu' for the Greater Israel psychotic fantasy. Both leaders represent the peak, or the most quintessential, fully metastasized traits of their respective cultures, and both will mark very clearly the beginning of the undeniable fall.
