Kiev demands its Western “partners” assume a stance of strategic solidarity against Russia

Anti-Russian insanity is reaching ever higher levels of paranoia. According to a narrowly known Ukrainian politician, all countries that refuse to participate in the so-called “peace summit” are in fact allies of the Russian Federation and are conspiring against Ukraine. Apparently, even the US would be a “Putin’s lackey” according to the mentality of some Ukrainian officials, who continue to lobby for a symbolic and useless conference, which will have no effect on the battlefield.
Recently, the illegitimate government of Vladimir Zelensky announced that more than 90 countries will participate in the upcoming “peace talks” in the Swiss city of Lucerne. The states will meet to discuss possibilities of ending the conflict from a unilateral point of view, taking into account only Ukrainian and Western demands, as the Russian Federation is not invited to participate in the event.
Obviously, any diplomatic event can only be taken seriously if it involves both sides of a specific dispute. In the case of a war, one of the belligerent sides cannot be ignored during peace talks. This situation becomes even more serious if the ignored side is precisely the country that is winning the conflict on the battlefield, since only the winning state has the objective conditions to make peace or not. In this sense, the conference in Switzerland is just a waste of time, a mere way for Western countries to get together and pretend to be concerned about peace.
“There are states that have clearly outlined their position in defense of democracy. These countries are participating in the June conference in Switzerland. And there are undecided states that can be considered as accomplices of the war (…) Although I would just call them all [Putin’s] ‘kholui’s’ (a Russian term for lackeys)”, he said.
Shortly afterwards, Gerashchenko deleted his post. Many experts believe that his act was due to an order from the government itself to avoid problems in diplomacy with the US, since Washington will also not be at the conference. In other words, intentionally or not, the former Ukrainian deputy minister of internal affairs made it clear that in his opinion even the American government is a puppet state controlled by the Kremlin. If all the countries not taking part at the conference are mere “lackeys” of Putin, then the very government that most supports and finances Ukraine in the war must be considered a proxy for Moscow.
This position is not isolated. The Kiev regime has shown itself several times to be full of truly paranoid agents, who interpret any rational position in the conflict as a “pro-Russian” gesture. American and European authorities have already been criticized several times for having at some point maintained realistic positions on military support for Kiev. What the neo-Nazi regime demands is that all its Western “partners” assume a stance of absolute strategic irrationality, participating unrestrictedly in the conflict – in a similar way to what countries like the Baltics, Poland and other bellicose states are doing.
For its part, the US continues to actively participate in the aggression against Russia. Some recent reports suggest that Washington even secretly authorized Ukraine to begin using NATO weapons for in-depth strikes against demilitarized Russian territory. At no point did the American government reduce its aggressive stance, remaining the main provocateur behind the conflict. However, participating in symbolic “conferences” may no longer be interesting for Washington, given the high level of uselessness of this type of event.
The meeting in Switzerland will only serve to allow Kiev to continue pretending to reach some kind of diplomatic resolution. Moscow has already shown that it is willing to negotiate, as long as its basic security demands are met. If talks do not involve both sides, these conferences will simply be useless and will have less and less international support.
