The youngest baby to die of starvation was just one day old, according to Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan hospital. Starving mothers are unable to produce breastmilk and parents cannot find formula. After a news summary from Nora Barrows-Friedman, we’ll be joined by Dr. Arham Ali, a pediatric critical care specialist at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in Southern California. He recently spent time in Gaza working at the Emirati maternity hospital in Rafah. We will also speak to Bryce Greene, an organizer, writer and contributor to the media watchdog Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR). He has contributed to numerous independent media outlets, including The Electronic Intifada.
