Op 28 april 2022 wees de Amerikaanse auteur en historicus Eric Zuesse ondermeer op de verzwegen context van de huidige oorlog in Oekraïne:
In fact: all of this U.S. imperialism has been enormously profitable for America’s billionaires, and especially for the ones who have been investing the most heavily in ‘defense’ industries. This has been most clearly and most blatantly so after the ‘ideological’ ‘justification’ for the Truman-and-Eisenhower start, in 1945, of the Cold War, finally ended in 1991. Beginning at around 1990 — the very same period when G.H.W. Bush started secretly instructing America’s ‘allies’ that the Cold War would continue on the U.S. side even after the Soviet Uinion would break up and end its communism, and end its side of the Cold War — the ‘Cumulative Returns, Indexed to 1951,’ for the total stock ‘Market’ vs. for ‘Industrials’ vs. for ‘Defense,’ which three segments had previously moved in tandem with each other, sharply diverged after 1990, so that “Defense” has since been soaring, it’s rising much faster than the other two sectors, both of which other two sectors (‘Market and Industrials’) continued after 1990 rising in tandem with each other. That — 1990 — was the time when market valuations on America’s armaments producers suddenly took off and left the rest of the economy ever-increasingly behind. It’s all shown right there in that chart. This means that the decision by George Herbert Walker Bush to go for blood, instead of to serve the needs of the American people, has been vastly profitable for America’s aristocracy. Interesting, too, is that the period after 1990 has been when the U.S. Government became increasingly involved in invading the Middle East. The arms-markets there were growing by leaps and bounds. However, after 2020, the U.S.-and-allied regimes seem to be refocusing again on ‘great power competition' (including sanctions and other operations to promote ‘regime change’ against any governments that don’t cooperate with the U.S. regime’s efforts against what it declares to be ‘America’s enemies’). They now openly equate economic ‘competition’ against such targets as being something that is legitimate to be dealt with by even military means. They openly presume that the military ought to serve their billionaires and no longer “national” (meaning public) defense. They openly presume that imperialism is right, and that it’s okay for nations to fight each other in order to further enrich their respective aristocracies. Here is how it is taught at the U.S. Army War College, where one recommendation is (see p. 48):
U.S. leaders of both political parties have consistently committed to the maintenance of U.S. military superiority over all potential state rivals… It allows U.S. decision-makers the opportunity to dictate or hold significant sway over outcomes in international disputes in the shadow of significant U.S. military capability and the implied promise of unacceptable consequences in the event that capability is unleashed.
Here was how U.S. President Barack Obama instructed graduating cadets on this at the West Point Military Academy:
‘The United States is and remains the one indispensable nation. That has been true for the century passed and it will be true for the century to come… Russia’s aggression toward former Soviet states unnerves capitals in Europe, while China’s economic rise and military reach worries its neighbors. From Brazil to India, rising middle classes compete with us, and governments seek a greater say in global forums… It will be your generation’s task to respond to this new world.’
All other nations are ‘dispensable.’ America’s military is an extension of international economic competition so that America’s billionaires will continue to rule the world in the future, as they do now. ‘Rising middle classes compete with us’ and are consequently America’s enemies in the ‘dispensable’ countries (everywhere in which vassalage to America’s billionaires — being ‘America’s allies’ — is rejected), so that ‘it will be your generation’s task to respond to this new world.’ So he told America’s future generals, regarding those who live (as the Army report put it) ‘in the shadow of significant U.S. military capability and the implied promise of unacceptable consequences in the event that capability is unleashed.’ America’s military are the global gendarmes not of Hitler’s nazi regime in WW II, but of America’s nazi regime in the lead-up to WW III.
De bovenstaande context wordt nog eens onderstreept door het feit dat president Biden de extremistische Victoria Nuland opnieuw heeft aangesteld als staatssecretaris voor Europa en Eurazië om haar opdracht, een gewelddadige ‘regime change’ in Rusland, na vier jaar Trump, te voltooien. Die gewelddadige omwenteling was zij al vóór 2014, als staatssecretaris onder president Obama, begonnen door 5 miljard uit te trekken voor een door de CIA geregisseerde ‘regime change’ in Oekraïne. Dat was de eerste stap op weg naar wat Henry Kissinger al in 2015 betitelde als ‘het uiteen laten vallen’ van Rusland, en toont aan hoe belangrijk zowel Democraten als Republikeinen de ontbinding beschouwen van Rusland in drie zelfstandige delen. En net als de zelfbenoemde staat Israel en zijn ‘hofjoden’ al decennialang het internationaal recht kunnen schenden zonder dat Brussel en Washington in het geweer komen, zo mochten Zelensky en zijn naaste medewerkers in Kiev de Donbass regio doorgaan met het laten bombarderen van de Russische burgerbevolking aldaar zonder dat Washington, dat toen al wapens leverde, en Brussel ingrepen. Op die wijze kon het Westen de huidige oorlog in Oekraïne uitlokken om een regime-change in Moskou te forceren. Zo spelen de ‘hofjoden’ in Kiev (onder wie Zelensky) en Washington (onder wie Nuland) dezelfde rol als hun joodse voorgangers die als ‘bemiddelaar’ optraden ‘voor de joodse gemeenschap om te onderhandelen met wereldse autoriteiten in premodern Europa,’ op voorwaarde dat de toenmalige macht daarvoor financieel ruim gecompenseerd werd. Voor wat, hoort wat. Het zijn nu alleen geen koningen meer bij wie de ‘shtadlones' in de smaak moeten vallen om hun eigen positie, en die van hun mede-joden, te verbeteren, maar de Amerikaanse Deep State, de macht achter de schermen van de ‘democratie.’
Wat de corruptie van de commerciële massamedia aantoont is vooral dat zij — net als het Amerikaanse politieke elite — de ‘deep state’ beschermen, de macht achter de staat. Voor Nederlandse provincialen die meteen beginnen te steigeren wanneer ze het begrip ‘deep state’ of ‘complot’ vernemen, citeer ik hier een insider, de Amerikaanse oud topambtenaar Mike Lofgren die dit alles uitgebreid van binnenuit heeft beschreven en gedocumenteerd. Hij omschrijft de ’deep state’ als ‘a hybrid association of elements of government and parts of top-level finance and industry that is effectively able to govern the United States without reference to the consent of the governed as expressed through the formal political process.’
De historicus Lofgren was van ‘1995 to 2004 budget analyst for national security on the majority staff of the House Budget Committee. From 2005 until his retirement in 2011 the chief analyst for military spending on the Senate Budget Committee.’ Hij eindigt zijn opzienbarende boek The Deep State. The Fall Of The Constitution And The Rise Of A Shadow Government (2016) met de volgende waarschuwing:
The mortal danger of wildfire to a herd of deer is what a half century of disastrous involvement in the Middle East ought to represent to American policy makers. But it does not. Being in favor of the lraq War may have been objectively wrong, but it was an astute career move for many government operatives and contractors. Wall Street CEOs failed to understand that leveraging their portfolios with derivatives contracts was the equivalent of giving a child a loaded pistol, but with the exception of a handful of people like Richard Fuld (Amerikaanse bankier van de Lehman Brothers, een bank die in 2008 failliet ging. svh), the main Wall Street players are still in their jobs, leveraging up for the next financial bubble.
Nature provides numerous examples of species whose traits have evolved such that they become maladapted to their environments. In a similar fashion, the military-industrial complex’s pampered, privileged position in society and its cost-is-no-object mentality, along with its rigid and bureaucratized hierarchy, have made it a less effective force in accomplishing its overriding purpose: fighting and winning wars.
That goal has become subsidiary to mastering, Washington politics, maintaining the cash flow to contractors, and offer senior personnel second careers in industry. These maladaptations affect the quality both of personnel and equipment. This lengthy catalog of dysfunctions in our governing institutions both public and private, and in the elites that control them, points to a system that is not sustainable in long term. It is also not that unusual in light of history. The normal way mature power structures try to maintain themselves is by redefining their vices as virtues and their mistakes as harmless mulligans (mengelmoes. svh) that should not be counted on the scorecard. Disasters like Vietnam and Iraq no more undermine the legitimacy of the elites who engineered them, at least in their own eyes, than the sinking of the Spanish Armada undermined Philip II’s unshakable belief that he was on the throne by the grace of God. It is the strategy of deny and move on. But it cannot go on.
Kortom, het mag dan wel lijken dat de Nederlandse D’66 minister van Defensie Kajsa Ollongren heeft beslist dat zij howitzers van de krijgsmacht naar Oekraïne gaat sturen, in werkelijkheid heeft zij opdracht gekregen van de Amerikaanse ‘deep state’ om dit te doen, en als gezagsgetrouwe dame gehoorzaamde zij nog dezelfde dag, zonder zelfs ook maar het Nederlandse leger te raadplegen. Als de huidige dwaasheden leiden tot een Derde Wereldoorlog dan zal de westerse elite het besluit hebben genomen, en niet politici als Ollongren die bij haar aantreden het verschil niet wist tussen ‘een majoor en een sergeant.’ Bewindvoerders worden daar ook niet neergezet vanwege hun kennis, maar vanwege hun kadaverdiscipline. Zo gaat dit al eeuwenlang, ondanks alle uiteenzettingen van mainstream-opiniemakers en andere corrupte praatjesmakers. Maar juist deze feiten, en die van de hooggeplaatste Lofgren die van binnenuit getuige was van hoe de corrumpering van het bestel verliep, worden door de 'corporate press' verzwegen, en wel omdat zij er onderdeel van uitmaken. De andere 145 Tweede Kamerleden hadden teveel bewondering voor de Oekraïense komediant om deze logische vraag te stellen, want ook zij zijn onderdeel van de hedendaagse poppenkast die voor politiek doorgaat. Zij hebben zich ook nooit afgevraagd hoe het te verklaren is dat de joods-Amerikaanse neo-conservatieve Victoria Nuland opnieuw in een gevaarlijke crisistijd tot beleidsbepalende figuur voor Europa en Eurazië werd benoemd. En toch is dit een signaal van hoe wederom diaspora-joden gebruikt worden door de elite om datgene uit te voeren wat onder andere mainstream-opiniemaker Ian Buruma ‘dirty work’ noemt, dat de macht van elk imperium, ook die van de VS, moet beschermen. Not until 1947 did the Corbey Court eating club for law students accept Jews, finally extending membership to a small group that included Robert M. Morgenthau, now the Manhattan District Attorney. And not until 1965 did a Jew become a member of the Yale Corporation, when William Horowitz, a banker in New Haven, was elected to the board that sets university policy… In 1948, Yale ceased automatically segregating housing between Christians and Jews, blacks and whites. By the early 20th century, most cities with meaningful Jewish populations had formed country clubs, and by 1928, there were 34 Jewish social and country clubs in the greater New York area, though many Jews still saw the inability to join non-Jewish social organizations as an impediment to assimilating and Americanizing.
Despite having been born of discrimination, Jewish country clubs often discriminated within the Jewish population. In the early years of the 20th century, membership at some clubs was restricted to German Jews, though as populations grew and intermarried, Russian and Polish Jews were also accepted.
According to a 1962 Anti-Defamation League survey of 803 country clubs, 224 were found to be non-discriminatory, while among the predominantly Christian clubs, 89 had quotas on the number of Jewish members and 416 admitted no Jews, though the Jewish Telegraphic Agency noted that social club discrimination was ‘in retreat’ by the mid-1960s. Nevertheless, as of 2011 some country clubs still admit few or no Jews.

During a June 7, 2016, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Hearing titled ‘Russian Violations of Borders, Treaties, and Human Rights,’ Nuland… noted Russia's 2014 invasion of Ukraine which she said, "shattered any remaining illusions about this Kremlin's willingness to abide by international law or live by the rules of the institutions that Russia joined at the end of the Cold War." Nuland described four essential elements of the U.S. foreign policy towards Russia,
waaronder ‘Deter further aggression through the projection of strength and unity with allies,’
