Anybody who spends any amount of timeonline, which includes not only myself,but also by definition, you, dear viewer, isprobably familiar with the term cringeand not just the term, but what it actuallymeans. And although it's kind of typicallydiscussed as some new internet termthat has been repurposed andpopularized,
it's actually been around for severalcenturies, come from old English, reallynever changed in its meaning, whichbasically indicates that the experience offeeling embarrassment for somebodyelse, secondhand embarrassment,typically because the person you'rewatching is doing something that isembarrassing, but they don't actuallyknow that it's embarrassing,
and you feel this kind of internaldiscomfort as a result. And there are alot of things that have caused me to feelcringe over the years, probably nonemore frequently than when AOC,Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, thecongresswoman from New York, tries totalk about foreign policy.
At best, she like barely skates by withoutsome kind of a disaster. And it's likewatching a high wire act. You're justpetrified that the person's going to fallover and crash or anticipating that theywill with excitement. And so it rangesfrom like just barely surviving to anabsolute disaster and maybe ranges inbetween.
And this has been true basically from thevery first time that she emerged on thepolitical scene back in 2018 when sheshocked the political world. by defeatinga man named Joe Crawley, who despitebeing unknown to essentially everybodyoutside his family, including the people inthe Queens district that he representedfor many, many years,
AOC Makes Her Big Foreign Policy Debut, Then Promptly Falls Flat on Her Face
The Queens Democrat has always had serious difficulty speaking coherently on foreign policy. Despite tutoring and weeks of media promotion, it's only gotten worse.

The vapidness for someone who wants to put themselves in such high positions is amazing but very indicative of the sort of people who inhabit the ruling class.
AOC is utterly incapable of speaking beyond cliches.
