Het probleem met deze vrouwen is dat ze allen uit de a-culturele middenklasse komen en zich uit ambitie hebben aangepast aan de agressieve mannelijke normen. Twee van hen, von der Leyen en Kallas, zijn afkomstig uit een nazi--milieu, en zijn bereid om te collaboreren met the powers that be. 

Kaja Kallas' revisionism makes sense when considering the role of her great-grandfather in founding Kaitseliit, the anti-Soviet militia that formed into the Nazi collaborationist Forest Brothers, who helped Nazi-Germany exterminate Estonia's Jews and communists during World War II
