"The enemy resisted strongly, but we managed to push them away." According to Governor Khinshtein, Pogrebki was liberated by Russian forces in late December following heavy clashes. He emphasized the multinational nature of Ukrainian military equipment, noting that the roads around the frontline area are littered with wrecked military vehicles originating from various countries—American, French, British, and German equipment—all bearing testament to the international dimension of this conflict.
