VT Condemns the ETHNIC CLEANSING OF PALESTINIANS by USA/Israel

Israel and American Zionism since the 67 War began a well-organized campaign well-funded with generous money and brains to shape not only American foreign policy but America’s domestic and constitutional vision in support of the Israel Colonial Settler’s Occupation.

In Congress, AIPAC with generous funding by the American Jewish Establishment shaped the composition of both Senate and House in favor of Israel spending tens of millions in campaign funding recruiting potential candidates who are in favor of Israel. What we see now more than 90% of both houses are “Israeli Loyalist” too generous with our tax dollars to the tune of over $280 Billion so far to Israel, a country with standards of living much better than most Americans.

On college and universities generous contribution by rich alumnus have been very influential in shaping the nature of education and composition of academic chairs (many for sure are by well qualified scholars). However, the money influence of American Zionism also denied many Arab and Muslim scholars’ jobs and tenured positions with universities vetting applicants on their views of Israel, Zionism in extending or denying offers of jobs. 

The recent events and the uprising on American colleges and universities by Pro-Palestine and Pro-Gaza students have energized members of Congress to call for hearing grilling college presidents on their views on constitutional rights of free speech, with claims that the exercise of free speech and assembly is deemed “Antisemitic” threatening the “well-being of Jewish students on campus”. Such hearing in Congress forced the president of Harvard and Pennsylvania to resign when they failed to agree with members of the Congressional panel that free speech is not “Antisemitic” and is not Clear and Present danger” to Jewish students on campus. If a “Jewish student” feel threatened by the presence of a Pro-Palestine student or someone wearing a “Keffiyeh” should the college deny them access to the college because a “Jewish student” feels threatened or offended!

However, the Israeli ongoing genocide in Gaza and the West Bank have energized progressive Non-Zionist Jewish students to join their fellow Arab, Muslims, and Palestinians students in organizing demonstrations and sit in on college campuses. 

Prominent in all this the actions by Columbia University president Nemat Shafik calling the local police to evict demonstrating students from the ground of the campus, invoking the rights to dismiss students making them “trespassers” subject to eviction. Worst when she was asked by member of congress who invoked God in support of Israel to dismiss professors because of their writings and opinion and she did nothing to defend the two professors mentioned by name. What a coward unfits to lead and protect academic freedom or her faculties. 

During the hearing members of Congress invoked the name of God in support of Israel’s genocide “Those who bless Israel, God will bless, those who curse her, He will curse” of course Columbia president agreed saving Columbia from the “Curse of God”. I have no doubt that God does not listen to these “paid for supporters of Israel” who support genocide and starvation of millions of Gazans.

Many thanks for the great coalition of thousands of students, Jews, Arabs, Muslims, Palestinians, Blacks and Hispanic all came together in support of Palestine and in support of Gaza all across American universities and campuses, remembering of the student uprising of 1968 against the Vietnam War, On many college campuses, college officials called on the police to evict these students from campus ground, promoting Pro-Israeli students to throw bags full of “rats” at the encamping students at George Washington University.

Perhaps the most violent abuse of police power came at the University of Texas- Austin, with local and state authorities throwing the full power of police to arrests, strangle, hand cuffing students using strong arms tactics. 

With hundreds of colleges and universities here in the US and around the world joining these demonstration, Israel and American Zionist went into full actions with Netanyahu the -Bucher of Gaza- calling on college administrators, local and state officials to arrest and jail them as usual invoking the much used and abuses “Antisemitism” accusation that no takes seriously.

Netanyahu, Israel Pro-Israel members of Congress all out to snuff this demonstration with use of force by Israeli trained police. 

We should not be surprised what will come next, Congress passing laws to make it mandatory to all Americans to pledge allegiance to Israel just like Germany making allegiance to Israel as a condition of citizenship.
