As controversial this bizarre lesbian love story might be, this film of Michael Winterbottom delivered some phenomenal acting from Amanda Plummer and Saskia Reeves and some truly poetic moments such as its haunting end. The song in the soundtrack, "I Don't Need" by The Cranberries.
