“Today we will announce an agreement on BRICS Pay…a payment system for BRICS countries.” —Vladimir Putin’s🇷🇺 envoy Kirill Dmitriev The result of the US using the dollar as a weapon, and abusing the power of the world’s reserve currency. Russia was cut off from the dollar and the SWIFT payment system in 2022, and the rising powers of this century saw what the US was capable of. Joe Biden & Donald Trump bullying any country that refused to bend the knee sent alarm bells ringing in China🇨🇳, India🇮🇳, Brazil🇧🇷, and the other capitals of the multipolar world. The result? These rising powers creating a system completely separate from the US-dominated architecture. Washington’s imperial hubris resulted in it shooting itself in the foot.
