Anas Al Basher lost half of his brain due to an injury he received after an Israeli drone bombarded the home of his friend who was martyred, at the Jenin Camp in the West Bank.
The incident happened after they had the late night meal before fasting during Ramadan.
The drone strike caused massive destruction and Anas was severely injured, leading to the loss of a part of his left brain lobe.
He spent 21 days in a coma and now struggles with mobility and constant headaches, needing 24/7 care.
Despite these hardships, Anas remains hopeful about his recovery.
He's one of the "lucky ones" who survive the savagery of the apartheid occupation.
