Day in and day out, people are tuning in to Global Research to find out what is going on in the world. Often, the headlines leave little room for optimism. Threats of militarized intervention in Syria… Abuses of Palestinian human rights on a daily basis… An economic crisis reaching pandemic proportions…
It’s a lot to process on any given day. So… do we give up and walk away?
Not while we know that you, our readers, are out there and counting on the TRUTH — that you are making conscious choices to turn off mainstream media drivel and find out what’s really happening. And nothing encourages us more than knowing that we are reaching you, the people — that the nameless, faceless clicks that register on our stats counters are connected to real people who want to know,need to know, are just as committed as we are to breaking through the lies.
Often you write to us to show your appreciation, and that inspires us greatly. And sometimes we find encouragement in the most unlikely places, where people are discussing Global Research and promoting our projects to other web users. Recently we came across this comment by an anonymous reader:

Over mainstream leugens gesproken. a.s zondag in zomergasten van de VPRO te gast , 3 uur lang! Beatrice de Graaf, zogenaamd hoogleraar conflict en veiligheid in historisch perspectief.In een zomergasten- promo filmpje zegt ze dat ze ons wil laten zien dat het terroristen niet gaat om het geweld maar om de opoffering.
Op de site van de Universiteit Leiden :
"Leer Beatrice de Graaf kennen en ontdek wat terroristen beweegt
Terroristen willen theater en zijn uit op provocatie en angst. Het effect van hun daden staat of valt met de reactie van de bevolking en daarmee met de manier waarop de overheid over terrorisme communiceert. Lees hier meer over Beatrice de Graafs baanbrekende onderzoek naar terrorisme, over verwant onderzoek en onderwijs aan de Universiteit Leiden en de impact die dat heeft."

Daar zakt werkelijk je broek van af. Wederom geen woord over het state-terrorism van de VS.
En de VPRO geeft een hele avond een podium aan zo'n onnozel dametje.
De VPRO is zo langzamerhand de slechtste omroep aan het worden,erger dan de commercielen.

vertelt dit dametje in het filpje "wie is Beatrice de Graaf"dat studenten moet aantrekken haar studie te doen. "......We bezoeken allerlei archieven , we bezoeken allerlei (voormalige terroristen ,we ondekken ALLERLEI LEUKE DINGEN. 1 van mijn laatste recente leuke ontdekkiningen is dat de eerste nederlandse terroristische aktie, eind 19e eeuw speelde dat zich af etc etc........."
Totaal niet serieus te nemen dus!
Verderop durft de dame nog te vermelden dat "de verdiepingsslag daar schiet het nog wel eens aan tekort."
Totaal een bord voor de kop ,zwaar eenzijdig geconditioneerd en als pionnetje gepositioneerd op de Universiteit van Leiden.
In uw theater komende zondag bij de VPRO. Zo werkt de volksverlakkerij.
ik kan het niet laten. Echt lachwekkend,'t is om te huleln,wordt het verderop op de pagina onder" Oderwijs volg je hart"

Ze blijkt al diverse keren bij Pauw en Witteman te zijn geweest, De Wereld Leert Door ,VPRO's Boeken (?) etc. Een burgertrutje met een intelligentie van een koe, die als pion op de Universiteit wordt gedeponeerd en door haar titel alleen een autoriteits-status krijgt , en het volk zo via de media besmet met zwaar eenzijdige informatie omtrent de wereldsituatie/terrorisme. Een gevaarlijke vrouw passend in haar eigen boek.
.Onbegrijpelijk onnozele tante als je de tv-optredens bekijkt,middelbare school-nivo.
Aan 't eind van 't programma De Wereld Leert Door zegt deze Beatrice de Graaf :" Opsporing en veiligheidsbeleid hebben alleen zin als je er een rechtstaat omheen bouwt,want anders komen we in een dictatuur terecht" Luister wat ze zegt "Een rechtstaat om opsporing en veiligheidsbeleid bouwen" volgens mij is dat juist de definitie van een dictatuur. En dit meisje is en hoogleraar professor doctor en wordt als deskundige in allerlei opinieprogramma's uitgenodigd en krijgt nu van notabene de VPRO een avondlang zendtijd.Nederland is gek geworden. Zo slecht is het gesteld met de wetenschap , dat zulke dames professor/hooglerraar kunnen worden,met wat voor een reden?..............
