A delegation of Rabbis from New York held a press conference with Ahmadinejad to bless the Iranian president and to condemn Zionism as, "antithetical" and "godless" and obsessed with "materialism." The Rabbis explained that the Holocaust caused many Rabbis to fall prey to the allure of Zionism. They urged their Jewish followers to remain true to the Torah and to oppose Zionism. The Rabbis characterize Zionism as, "not Judaism."
The Rabbis informed Ahmadinejad that they were praying for the "dismantlement of the state of (Israel)." When they filed out of the room, they all shook hands with Ahmadinejad, and one said he was honored to meet such a strong leader.
This video suggests that the western campaign to demonize Ahmadinejad is beginning to boomerang.
