Israel officially admits that Hamas won’t be defeated.
Netanyahu has failed to achieve both his stated goal of Hamas’ annihilation and his unstated goal of forcing Gaza’s population into the Egyptian Sinai.
He has, however, succeeded in destroying Gaza, killing 27,000+ Palestinians and numerous Israeli captives, and sending many Israeli soldiers to their graves – all to extend his political career.
