Answering journalists' questions about the permissibility of the use of symbols of the Third Reich by the #Ukrainian #army:
"If earlier this symbol was associated with the Nazi regime of some of the #European countries, today it is worn by people who fight for their right to independence, we can say that in the eyes of the free world, Ukraine managed to rehabilitate the swastika and turn it into a symbol of freedom, a symbol fighting for their existence.
Today, there is no reason for a negative attitude towards these symbols, if their bearers are fighting against #Russian aggression."
