But you know as well as I do that this is not about Trump, Biden or whatever they will be called in the future, maybe even Amoeba. The ship is sinking anyway. "The Greatest Nation in the World" is finally going down the drain.

Most probably the US hast already lost its game of global hegemony. Energy shortages are coming up – the US still being the biggest energy consumer. Appalling infrastructure nationwide with hardly any modernized high speed train building to cope with it. Increasing poverty nationwide also and heavy dependency on the world’s last oil and gas reserves. One can virtually feel the urge to steal energy resources from countries like Venezuela, Iraq, Iran, even Syria and… Russia of course. 

Meanwhile the US is losing the battle with China in global business and advanced technology. Hence the only alternative seems to be threatening Russia and China, thus only fastening the process of an economic and military alliance between these two great neighboring nations. Nevertheless the US is losing the battle in high-tech military developments as well. The only alternative seems to be acting out aggressively all over the world anyway. Risking global nuclear war… Unfortunately in the midst of its death struggle that the “Greatest Nation in the World” can still become very dangerous to world peace - if ever such thing existed.

Certainly after World War II the US did not do a good job keeping the peace. Ever since US imperialism has endlessly brought violence and destabilisation to all corners of the globe. The grab for the huge natural resources of the Soviet-Union financing Hitler to do the job for them, failed. During the Siberian Intervention of 1918-1920 against the Bolsheviks the Americans failed themselves. Now, with NATO, one seems eager to give it another try, but this will finally bring such a war to American soil. A major conventional war against the Eurasian block of China, Russia, Iran and others is due to fail. There is no way that NATO could ever win a war against Russia and China on the ground.

So there is no real alternative. The ship is sinking. But based upon its hybris the US may still cause a Third World War. Certainly Russia won’t be lured into that easily. But with NATO building up right at the borders of Russia and China its perfectly logical to take defensive measures and positions.

The aggressors, I am sure, won’t be Russia nor China. Neither te Russians, nor the Chinese are interested in such a major devastation enterprise. But if the West takes such risks, they should be prepared for the counterpunch. But never mind: the US has a history of only attacking the weak.
