 This was stated by the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley.

 📝 “American F-16 fighters will not become a miracle weapon for Ukraine and will cost much more than shells and ground equipment ,” Politico quotes him as saying.

 📝 “There is no miracle weapon in war, the F-16 is not one, like everything else,” Milley said.

According to him, the "most reasonable" option is to supply Kyiv with "a significant amount of integrated air defense systems."
