Along with the rest of Europe, Germany is bracing itself for the arrival of hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, and many commentators agree that the wars the West waged and instigated in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen and Syria were a fatal mistake, Czech media wrote on Sunday.

In the pursuit of their cyclical policy the Western powers have often joined hands with the most vicious Islamist groups in their bid to get rid of secular governments which maintained regional stability but refused to toe the Western line, Parlamentnilisty.cz news portal wrote.

In Afghanistan the Americans armed the Taliban against the Soviet Union and it is now just a matter of time before this the whole situation there explodes again, the newspaper noted.

Europe is now facing an enormous surge of migrants, most of whom are Iraqis and Syrians, who are running away from the Islamic State terrorist group the US, Britain, France and the oil-rich Gulf monarchies helped create.

“And now we have Russia coming forward with an offer to help in the ongoing war against ISIL, but the US, Germany, NATO, Israel and the rest are crying bloody murder and accusing Moscow of trying to upset the current ‘stability,’” the author noted.

“What stability? The one which is offered by the Islamic State? Or the one the West used to get rid of Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi and is now trying to topple Bashar Assad?” Jiří Vyvadil wondered.

“I feel ashamed for the West and I hope the migrants will overwhelm it like locusts and destroy it.”

“If Western Europe wants to be destroyed, then it deserves this. If it wants to keep dancing to Washington’s tune and perish, so be it,” Vyvadil wrote in conclusion.
