Did Joe Biden’s racism, gibberish help him win #election2020?

Verbal diarrhea, disparaging black Americans, and insulting voters in general. It has been a series of bloopers and blunders, gaffes and gibberish for former Vice President Joe Biden and his 2020 aspirations. Despite a terribly run campaign that made you wonder if the Democrats are abusing a senior citizen with declining cognitive abilities, the career politician with nearly five decades of experience allegedly received 75 million votes on Election Day. And, barring a reversal in the federal courts, he is poised to become the 46th president of the United States.
Before the nation inaugurates Biden – who may believe he is being sworn into the U.S. Senate – it would be prudent to deconstruct his White House bid to help future campaigns study what a winner looks like.
‘You Ain’t Black’
The defining moment of Biden’s campaign was when he told a media personality, Charlamagne tha God, that “you ain’t black” if you’re not sure who to support in the White House race. The mainstream media immediately went on the defense for Biden, claiming that it was a joke. Biden apologized for his apparent quip, saying that he should not have been “such a wise guy.” But this was not the only time he insulted black Americans.
In August, Biden suggested that blacks belonged to some monolithic hive without any independent thoughts or diversity. He told Lulu Garcia-Navarro of National Public Radio:
“Yes, yes. And by the way, what you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.”
In August 2019, Biden told a group of mostly Asian and Hispanic voters in Iowa that “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids,” suggesting that intelligence and talent are characteristics of Caucasians. No wonder he received the endorsement of Richard Spencer. For whatever reason, the audience clapped, indicating that people who attend these events likely do not listen to what these politicians are saying. You cannot fault them, though, since you need an expert translator to decipher any random Biden speech.
His praise of two Democrat segregationists – former Senators James O. Eastland (D-MS) and Herman Talmadge (D-GA) – was also a headscratcher. This, of course, caught the attention of Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), who used it as fodder for an offensive in a primary debate. In another Democratic fight night, Biden came up with an entirely new ethnicity when he said he received the endorsement of “the only bl–African-American woman that had ever been elected to the United States Senate.”
You can only imagine how the Fourth Estate would break into an apoplectic seizure if President Trump had uttered anything remotely similar to these remarks during the 2020 race. Actually, never mind. You do not need to imagine because they think everything the Trump administration has done has been an advancement of white supremacy. They think that making the OK sign is racist, for crying out loud.
The Art Of The Insult
“Chumps,” “ugly folks,” “fat,” and “lying dog-faced pony soldier.” These were just some of the insults that Biden hurled at the voting public. But this is a common tactic for the former vice president: If you dare question his wisdom, be sure to face the wrath of Biden, despite claims that he was brought up never to insult anyone. Some might allude to President Trump and his style, but he never campaigned on a theme of decency, dignity, and respect. Biden is being marketed as a unifier. The problem arises when he avers that up to 15% of the population “are just not good people.” That is fanning the flames of hate.
Phantom Of 2020
A key tenet of the Biden campaign was to “listen to the scientists” and “wear a mask,” going as far as calling for a federal mandate to do so, although he flip-flopped – and flipped – many times on this proposal. This is why it was hilarious to watch Biden sport a face-covering because it is evident that it is all for the political theatrics. For example, during a speech in the campaign’s home stretch, he pulled down his mask and coughed directly into his hand. This is one of the things that scientists say that you should never do. And this is on top of all the other times he has pulled down his face covering to talk to folks or touched the mask without washing his hands.
It Doesn’t Add Up
Did you know that 200 million people have died from COVID-19? Were you aware that half of the U.S. population was wiped out by gun violence since 2008? Would the economy be rescued if 720 million women returned to the workforce? Biden has had a rough time with numbers over the last year-and-a-half, something that Liberty Nation’s Editor-at-Large James Fite recently noted.
One example of this came at a September 2019 CNN town hall on climate change, where he talked about energy efficiency of appliances – or did he…?
“I would see to it in the – immediately, moving toward – you know, we are, in fact, in a position now that if, in fact, we dealt with mitigation across the board, just what we did in the last administration, and before, leading to a standard that we provide efficiency for appliances, that saves billions of gallons of gasoline – I mean, billions of – two point – I think it’s $2.3 billion worth of – excuse me, $500 billion in savings and two-point-something billion metric tons of CO-2 going into the air. We should do it across the board.”
Compared to some of the other things he has uttered in 2020, this was more comprehensible.
That’s Gibberish Talk
Perhaps one of the reasons Biden spends so much time in his Wilmington, DE basement, is because he is frequently engages in neologism – creating new words or expressions. If there is one thing you will have noticed from Biden in his third presidential bid its that he attempted to submit contributions to Webster’s dictionary with “truaninonashufodoprzure” and “badakathcare.” One could be a new type of political maneuvering, while the other might be voodoo-based health care.
Did Biden Try Helping Trump?
Whether you consider his election win to be legitimate or not, Biden might have been surprised to learn that he was going to be winning the 2020 race. Since earning the Democratic nomination, he has tried to – indirectly – campaign for Trump, from admitting that “I’m going to beat Joe Biden” to “we can only re-elect Donald Trump.” He even conveyed to voters that he was running for the Senate – twice!
Biden’s time as president – four months or four years – is going to be an entertaining one. Suppose you thought his 47-year career of verbal gaffes and policy blunders were comedy gold. In that case, you are in store for quite a treat because he will tickle your funny bone before giving you an aneurysm as you try to compute what he is saying during the next State of the, you know, the thing.
