Step up to the Climate Challenge
The stats this year aren’t pretty and the final numbers aren’t even in:
  • 15 weather and climate disasters in the U.S. (through September) costing $1 billion or more
  • Total damages — excluding hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, whose costs are still being calculated — about $25 billion
  • One of the worst wildfire years in California history — fueled by high temperatures and dry conditions
These disasters have taken a great toll on our communities. Your support helps Climate Central face the impacts of a warming planet head on.
We are more than halfway to reaching our $30,000 challenge goal. Help us get to the finish line by December 31. If you give today your contribution will be matched dollar for dollar, going twice as far in helping Climate Central inspire people to address the most urgent challenge of our time.
