Russians With An Attitude

From Readovka: "The parents and relatives of the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrsky, still live in Russia, and his father is a retired colonel of the Russian Armed Forces. As discovered by Readovka, the native of Vladimir oblast and newly appointed commander-in-chief of the AFU is still connected to Russia not only by his place of birth—his relatives, including his mother, father, and brother, continue to live there. Syrsky's mother, Lyudmila, confirmed to Readovka that it is indeed they with father Alexander in the photo. Notably, the father of the AFU commander-in-chief, Stanislav, is a retired colonel of the Russian army, now a pensioner. In the photo, he is with relative Lyudmila—currently, they reside in Vladimir. Also living with them is Oleg, the brother of the AFU commander-in-chief, who, according to Readovka, works as a security guard. Before the start of the Special Military Operation, Syrsky's parents were active on social networks, where they posted patriotic posts—in the frames from 2019, they are seen at the "Immortal Regiment" march, where the family wears the St. George Ribbon (banned in Ukraine) and is proud of the family's past. Whether the new commander-in-chief of the AFU communicates with his family now or has altogether forgotten about them is unknown."

The new Commander in Chief of the AFU is apparently going to be Syrski — a Great Russian, born in a village east of Moscow, with zero connection to Ukraine other than his military unit having been stationed there in 1991 and him deciding to stay. Funny how that works
