Extremely important: Israel's liberal opposition leader is openly saying Israel's "biblical borders" should include lands of Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia & Lebanon, to be "great, big & vast Israel"
While he says this is not possible ONLY b/c of security considerations *at this moment*, Yair Lapid is leaving the door open for a future where if the regional or international situation changes, Israel would grab those lands promptly without a second thought
Lapid brags this is the essence of his "Zionism;" a fanatically expansionist colonial movement that existentially threatens all of its neighbours & sees their instability & collapse as opportunity!
