I saw physical courage in the wars I covered. But I rarely saw moral courage, the courage of individuals to defy the machine, especially the military machine, to stand up for what is just and right, to defend the vulnerable and the weak, to name and condemn the crimes committed in their name, exhibited here by Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Aguilar and Former Army intelligence officer Josephine Guilbeau. This is what moral courage looks like.
