Fight Jewish Fascism. Now. In the Parliaments, On the Streets, At the Universities

This is not a scene from a thriller movie. This is Beirut last night.

6 hospitals are out of service, over 2,000 dead, and 30 healthcare workers killed in less than 24 hours; this is the result of less than two weeks of genocide, Lebanon version 2.0.

Healthcare workers are being warned not to help the injured, and those who do are being killed. The strategy for the past week has been to warn people to evacuate a building at midnight or even 1-2 a.m., when people should be sleeping, and then flatten entire neighborhoods. The trauma from knowing night is coming, and the sound of bombs, has already begun to deeply affect the dearest people to my heart.

Weapons forbidden under international law, like white phosphorus, are being used in the heart of Beirut, with toxins that will have long-lasting effects on those who breathe them.

How is this still acceptable?

France is the only country, out of both powerful Arab and Western nations, that is, now, genuinely, trying to help Lebanon.

But is it too late? After Israel was given carte blanche to devastate Gaza (mainly to turn it into colonial resorts and exploit its gas resources)?
Same strategy in Gaza is now applied to Lebanon: Siege, indiscriminate bombings, daily massacres, and the destruction of Beirut and our country with no restraint.

Why is this happening? Because no one dares to defy the US, and the US won’t defy its backers (sponsors) in the lead-up to elections. This is dictatorship on a global scale.

I never imagined I would witness such a level of injustice in my lifetime. The pain I feel today is indescribable, as is my fear of what’s to come.

Humanity deserves better leadership. We are sinking, and we need better captains to steer us through these dark times.
