Ha'aretz reports that a 23-year-old disabled Palestinian man was shot dead in the back as he walked down the street. Israel originally claimed that its troops were confronting "a violent riot" when he was shot, but a video has now surfaced belying the claim. Rashida Tlaib plans to lead a congressional delegation on a trip to the occupied West Bank – a counterbalance to AIPAC's standard Israel trip for new Congress members. From The National. Israel's takeover of Arab East Jerusalem has continued unabated since the 1967 war, but has grown more brazen since US President Trump's decision to move the embassy.
