Clinton Foundation Begs for Money

Clinton Foundation
Stan - When I was starting out, I was best known for my voice. My voice opened doors for me to find success – first as an actress, and then as a director and producer.

Over the years, I’ve used my voice to speak out, to make my opinions heard, and to become an advocate for others.

So I know the power that a voice can have. And I know – very personally – that finding your voice can transform your life.

That’s why I’m so proud to be a longtime supporter of the Clinton Foundation. Every day, the Foundation is working toward a world where more girls and women are empowered to be healthy and succeed in all aspects of life – a world where women’s voices are heard and heeded.

Right now, you can make double the impact. President Clinton is personally matching gifts to the Foundation, up to $100,000. Please click here to make a tax-deductible donation to the Clinton Foundation now.

More than 15 years ago, President Clinton started the Foundation to help people live their best life stories – women and men alike.

Thanks to the Clinton Foundation’s good work, women in the mountains of Colombia have become entrepreneurs, selling essential consumer goods that increase their incomes and improve lives in their communities.

Girls in some of the poorest parts of the world now have a chance to go to school and learn in a safe and supportive environment.

Young coders in the United States used technology to develop new solutions to improve women's heart health nationwide.

That’s amazing. But there’s still much more work to be done. And that’s why President Clinton is so personally committed – he’s matching every donation that is given between now and June 21, up to $100,000.

Please – help to empower women by making a donation to the Clinton Foundation. And if you give now, your donation will help twice as much. I hope you’ll join me and use this opportunity to support the Clinton Foundation with a tax-deductible gift of $25, $50, or $100 more today. Your gift will be DOUBLED by President Clinton personally.

When you help a woman find her voice, you change her life – and you can change the world.

Thank you,

Barbra Streisand

P.S. Don’t forget! Make your tax-deductible donation to the Clinton Foundation and President Clinton will match your gift, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000 – but only if you give before June 21. Don’t wait! Please give today.

Native American Rape Survivors

A sign marks the entrance to White Earth Indian Reservation in Mahnomen County, Minn. (J. Stephen Conn / CC 2.0) WHITE EARTH RESERVATION, Minn.—Candice (not her real name) awoke with a start. Someone was pulling down her sweatpants. It was a male friend. “Stop!” she shouted. He kept groping her. She kicked him and he fell off the bed. She dashed out of the bedroom, tripping and tumbling down the stairs. Gripped with fear, she heard his footsteps behind her in the dark and forced herself to stand upright as she staggered out to the porch. Candice was still intoxicated. She got into her car and drove into a ditch. A white police officer pulled up. She struggled to hold back tears as she told him about the attempted rape. All the officer saw was a drunk and disorderly Native American woman. He dismissed Candice’s report of sexual assault as a lie she had made up to avoid getting a DUI. He did not take her to the hospital for a forensic exam. The sexual assault was not recorded in his pol…
