Delusional America — Paul Craig RobertsJanuary 31, 2015| Categories: Articles & Columns| Tags: |Print This Article Delusional America Paul Craig Roberts Robert Parry is one of my favorite columnists. He is truthful, has a sense of justice, and delivers a firm punch. He used to be a “mainstream journalist,” like me, but we were too truthful for them. They kicked us out. I can’t say Parry has always been one of my favorite journalists. During the 1980s he spent a lot of time on Reagan’s case. Having been on corporate boards, I know that CEOs seldom know everything that is going on in the company. There are just too many people and too many programs representing too many agendas. For presidents of countries with governments as large as the US government, there is far more going on than a president has time to learn about even if he could get accurate information. In my day Assistant Secretaries and chiefs of staff were the most important people, because they controlled the flow of …

1IRANOPINIONUNITED STATES US AND SEVEN WRONG STRATEGIES IN DIPLOMACY WITH IRAN – OPEDJANUARY 31, 2015LEAVE A COMMENT
By  By Seyed Hossein Mousavian* Former deputy head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council for foreign policy has recently taken part in a meeting of American elites in the northeastern state of Maine to discuss reasons behind the failure of the United States diplomacy toward Iran during the past 35 years. The meeting was organized by Mid-Coast Forum on Foreign Relations and was attended by a large group of American elites. During his speech, Mousavian mentioned the following reasons as the main factors behind the failure of diplomatic efforts taken by Washington to improve ties with Tehran: 1. US strategy of only trusting allies: The basis of the US strategy in the Middle East is the notion that countries in this region are either with the United States or against it. Therefore, any country that is not a US ally, or in better words, is no…

NATO Expansionism

NATO to open Georgia training centre and deploy ‘command units’ in Eastern EuropeNATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow announced during a speech in Tbilisi on 30 January 2015 that the alliance intends to open a new military training centre in Georgia by the end of the year. The new training centre is part of a package of measures to boost Georgia's defence capabilities agreed at the NATO Wales Summit in September last year. This effort to strengthen both NATO’s relationship with Georgia and the nation’s military capabilities is likely to add to existing NATO-Russia tensions. “The Centre could host live and simulated training and certification for Allied and partner military units, in particular for units committed to the NATO Response Force," Vershbow said.  "And it could also host exercises and training in support of our Connected Forces initiative". Georgia’s military was largely destroyed during the brief 2008 Russian-Georgian War, which led to the de f…

NOS-Journaal Helden

The General's Son, Miko Peled, is a peace activist who dares to say in public what others still choose to deny. Born in Jerusalem in 1961 into a well known Zionist family, his grandfather, Dr. Avraham Katsnelson was a Zionist leader and signer of the Israeli Declaration of Independence. His Father, Matti Peled, was a young officer in the war of 1948 and a general in the war of 1967 when Israel conquered the West Bank, Gaza, Golan Heights and Sinai.
Miko's unlikely opinions reflect his father's legacy. General Peled was a war hero turned peacemaker.
Miko grew up in Jerusalem, a multi-ethnic city, but had to leave Israel b…
